Both courses will…
…run from 10am on the Saturday & Sunday until 4pm (ish), giving you time to go for a lovely countryside stroll along the trailway, before going back to your B&B to freshen up for a lovely meal out together.
On Saturday evening, we shall all meet up at the local eatery, The Willows, where you can enjoy a glass of wine or a G&T and have something to eat whilst discussing all things woolly! A great excuse to crochet all weekend!
All courses are taught by the highly talented Ali Campbell, who has taught hundreds if not thousands of people to crochet in both Surrey & Dorset. She has also designed and written patterns for both UK & US books and magazines and is highly sought after for her colourful works of crochet art.
If you need to stay over, local B&B’s are:
The Willows – Which is a short walk down the trailway or the main road to the Crochet Classroom. (minimum 2 night stay in peak periods)
The Saxon – In Child Okeford, the next village
Manor Barn – In Child Okeford, the next village
and of course they is AirBnB!
Hook the weekend away
The price of the course is £150 for both days. This will include unlimited tea or coffee, cake, biscuits and lunch (homemade by the farmers wife who lives next door) on both days. You will also be taking home tuition sheets, patterns and any materials that you are given to use.
Ali has done a lot of research on the WWW and has read the feedback from the pupils that have joined her on her fantastic weekends in 2016.
The price reflects the fact that you will have to pay for a B&B and an evening meal together (optional by the way & great fun socially – which is no more than £20 for 3 courses and a glass of wine) into account. Ali loves to teach in her classroom & she has everything there that she needs to teach you in her patient & expert way, rather than organising for it to be in hotel or a similar facility, which will obviously push the price up.
The price of £150 is GREAT value for money as you will be provided with all you need for the course, be it beginners or improvers.
If you do need to stay in this lovely county of Dorset, your B&B will be bookable & payable by the pupil, however, if you do need help then please do ask!
The Saturday Night meal & drink at the local restaurant will also be charged for separately (optional and only payable by cash or cheque).
